Army Sgt. 1st Class Randall B. Wight, vocalist, U.S. Army Field Band, sings the Star-Spangled Banner during the opening ceremony for the Tough Mudder endurance challenge Nov. 5, 2016, in Palm Bay, Fla. Wight, a native of Syracuse, New York, joined more than 20 Soldiers from the 143rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) providing moral support for thousands of Tough Mudder challengers who yelled a defying, “Hooah,” before charging across the starting line to commence their 11-mile trek strewn with uniquely designed obstacles boasting mud, ropes, slides, tunnels and even live electrical wires.
