Cochiti, New Mexico, Feb. 11, 2014 -- Recent severe flooding deposited tons of sediment and debris along highways and guardrails of route 22. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has made federal disaster aid available to the State of New Mexico to supplement state, local and tribal recovery efforts in the area affected by severe storms and flooding during the period of July 23-28, 2013.
