Distinguished vistor, Chief Master Sgt. Mark Dyer, the command chief of the 179th Airlift Wing, Mansfield, Ohio, is recognized at the honoree ceremony during Military Appreciation Day at the 42nd Annual Memorial Tournament on May 31, 2017, at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio. The induction ceremony is held each year to recognize the new honoree and that individual's accomplishments and contributions to the game of golf. These events remind the community of the sacrifice the men and women in the military make for their country, and also provide military members an opportunity to show their gratitude for the support they get from fellow citizens.
