Operation Karkar was a joint-combined operation between 3rd Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 4th Iraqi Division and U.S. Soldiers from 2nd Battlalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 101st Airborne Division to capture targeted insurgents.
