Led by Sgt. Rosaura Serrano-Sanchez, 483rd Transportation Company, who was the top female winner, Soldiers from the 650th Regional Support Group, competed in the 1.5 run, during the 650th RSG’s Combat Fitness Challenge at the Camp Parks Reserve Forces Training Area June 9-10, competing in the 311th Expeditionary Sustainment Command’s Combat Fitness Challenge. The 650th Regional Support Group’s CFC was a preliminary round, introducing “The Year of Fitness,” established by Brig. Gen. David Elwell, 311th Expeditionary Sustainment Command commanding general. This new fitness event allows both officers and enlisted Soldiers to compete head to head in a series of rigorous athlete events.
