New York Army National Guard Sgt. Keyanna Joseph, left, assigned to Company F, 1st Battalion, 258th Field Artillery, and Spc. Francis Aquino, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 258th Field Artillery, part of the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, provide telephonic registration to staff the Medical Readiness Corps at the Brooklyn Call Center for the New York City Office of Emergency Management March 27, 2020. The Soldiers assisted in registering volunteers into New York City medical care facilities during the COVID 19 outbreak. The Soldiers are part of a statewide effort of more than 2,700 members of the New York National Guard responding to community needs to mitigate the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic. The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service provides a connection between world media and the American military personnel serving at home and abroad. All of these materials are preserved because they are important to the workings of Government, have long-term research worth, or provide information of value to citizens.
