Description: STS-61 mission specialist Tom Akers communicates with crewmembers from the Endeavour's aft flight deck while they are performing an Extravehicular Activity (EVA) to repair the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) (029). Mission commander Richard Covey (wearing a Texas A&M cap) watches activity in the Endeavour's aft flight deck during an EVA (030-1). Swiss Astronaut Claude Nicollier, mission specialist, is stationed on Endeavour's flight deck during one of the five HST servicing space walks (032). He is helped by Akers (left) and Covey (right) (033-4). Nicollier works with the Remote Manipulator System (RMS) arm controls (left of frame center) while assisting in one of the HST servicing space walks. Two space walkers can be seen through the aft windows (035-7). View 035 is underexposed. View 037 was selected by PAO for release to the public.
