U.S. Marine Corps officer candidates evacuate a simulated casualty up a ravine during a training exercise at the Naval Support Activity Annapolis, Maryland, April 25, 2015. The exercise was designed to prepare officer candidates from Recruiting Stations Baltimore and Frederick for the physical and mental challenges of Marine Corps Officer Candidate School. OCS trains, screens and evaluates candidates, who must demonstrate a high level of leadership potential and commitment to success in order to earn a commission as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
