US Navy Sailors check sprinklers for proper operation during a countermeasure wash down on the flight deck aboard the Wasp Class Amphibious Assault Ship USS BOXER (LHD 4). A countermeasure wash down is used by a ship to get rid of hazardous debris in the event of a chemical, biological or radiological attack. BOXER is currently participating in a Joint Task Force Exercise off the coast of Southern California as part of USN Expeditionary Strike Group 5.
