Summary
Utah National Guard 85th WMD Civil Support Team participates in a training scenario Nov. 4, 2014, at U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground during Vigilant Guard regional earthquake response exercise. This scenario was that, during a massive, statewide earthquake, a container of VX "nerve gas" was spilled inside a Dugway lab. The 85th WMD CST responded to assess the extent and danger of the spill. THIS PHOTO: A CST member is sprayed with decontaminant, to remove and/or nullify any chemical agent that may be on his suit. He is sprayed by Sgt. 1st Class Kim Baxter, who will also scrub the suit with a brush and test it with a chemical agent detector before allowing the member to remove it.
