Working in support of Operation Noble Eagle, MASTER Sergeant Larry Anderson, an aircraft engine mechanic for the 192nd Fighter Wing (FW), performs an inspection of the variable nozzle on the afterburner of a General Electric F110-GE-100 jet engine for an F-16C Fighting Falcon. The 192 FW is located just outside of Richmond in Sandston, Virginia. NOBLE EAGLE is a partial mobilization of the reserves for homeland defense and civil support missions in response to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 at the New York World Trade Center and the Pentagon
