U.S. Army SPC. Shane Dillon with Alpha Company, 1092nd Engineer Battalion, assists a New Orleans, La., girl on how to spell her name at the Houma-Terrbonne Civic Center in Houma, La., Oct. 3, 2005. The civic center has become a temporary home for roughly 500 people evacuated from Terrbonne Parish and New Orleans as a result of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The U.S. Army is contributing to the humanitarian assistance operations being led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in conjunction with the Department of Defense.
